3D Drawing with Corn Flakes
Discover a simple and fun activity to do with children from the age of 3!
With matched cards marked for decoration, children will be able to create beautiful, colorful 3D drawings using corn flakes.
These colorful flakes are 100% natural and biodegradable and are made in France from corn. By moistening them, children can assemble them together or stick them on cards to create lovely drawings, as we will see in this activity!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity you will need:
- cornflakes
- a sponge
- matching cards for cornflakes
- plastic bowls
Note: a sponge and a plastic knife are included with the packets of cornflakes.
Step 1
Moisten the sponge (included with the bag of corn flakes).
This will be used to moisten the corn flakes.
Step 2
Select the drawing of your choice.
Step 3
Take a corn flake and then "press" it onto the damp sponge.
Step 4
Glue the corn flake onto the card (wet side against the paper).
As it dries, the corn flake will magically stick to the card.
Step 5
TIP: you can re-cut the corn flakes with a simple plastic knife!
Step 6
Complete the drawing by gluing colored corn flakes in the defined areas to achieve a beautiful 3D effect.
