How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a bag charm, you will need:
- a gold oval carabiner
- thermoset nylon thread
- a cute face bead
- colored beads (Pandora type)
- gold spacer beads
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut a 30 cm piece of heat-sealed thread.
- Fold the thread in half and pass the loop through the carabiner.
- Thread both ends of the thread through the loop.
- Pull to attach the thread to the carabiner.
Note: We use heat-sealed nylon thread because it is known for its great strength.
Step 2
Thread a small golden "ball" bead followed by a golden "ring".
These two beads will serve as a little hat for the bead character.
Step 3
Thread a wooden face bead.
Step 4
Thread the beads in this order:
- Golden ring
- Colored bead
- Golden ring
- Colored bead
...
Step 5
Attach a colored pom-pom to the ring by making a triple knot, then cut the excess thread to finish your creation.
