This is a lovely wooden support that will allow children to create an original picture frame to give on the occasion of Father's Day.
Painting and gluing will be on the agenda for this activity to make this beautiful gift!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create this board you will need:
- a board and a medium wooden thumb (our ref. 34096)
- acrylic paint and brushes
- a plastic button
- gel adhesive dots
- adhesive rubber mosaics
- adhesive rubber letters
- felt heart stickers
Step 1
Paint the wooden board and the thumb with acrylic paint.
Here we used:
- white for the board
- light blue, dark blue, and skin color for the thumb
Let the paint dry for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Decorate the frame of the board with adhesive rubber mosaics.
For the corners of the board, cut the mosaics with a pair of scissors.
Step 3
Stick the thumb to the left of the board using gel adhesive dots that will give a nice 3D effect.
Stick a small plastic button onto the cuff with an adhesive dot.
Step 4
Write a personalized message using rubber adhesive letters.
Step 5
Glue felt heart stickers to finish the decoration.
