Father's Day Tie Card

To make a tie card, you will need:

- a strong white A4 card (300 g/m²)

- 4 strong colored cards (300 g/m²)

- cord

- 4 natural wood clothespins (Size: 2.5 cm)

- 2 paper fasteners

- self-adhesive foam rubber letter stickers

- 3D heart stickers

- Posca markers

- a hole punch

- scissors (+ pinking shears)

- a tube of white glue

- a photo to personalize the card

Cut a strong white A4 card lengthwise to obtain a strip of paper measuring approximately 15 x 30 cm.

Fold the paper strip in half to create a two-fold card measuring 15 x 15 cm.

In a brightly colored sturdy card, cut a square measuring 14 x 14 cm using a pair of pinking shears.

Using a stick of white glue, adhere the colored square to the inside of the card.

Using a hole punch, make 2 holes of Ø 3 mm on the front face of the card (make the holes on the center line about 1.5 cm from the edges of the card).

Cut a piece of string about 30 cm long and then thread it through the 2 holes.

Place 2 colored paper fasteners in the 2 holes.

Open the card, wrap the string around the brads, then close the "wings" of the brads to secure the string.

Cut off the excess cord with a pair of scissors.

Write the word DAD on the front of the card using self-adhesive foam letter stickers.

Cut out 4 small ties of about 6 cm from colored cardstock and then attach them to the string using small natural wooden clothespins.

To customize the card, cut out a photo and glue it inside.

Glue some 3D heart stickers.

Write a short note using POSCA markers.
