What length of thread is needed to create a friendship bracelet?
For an adult bracelet, use 3, 5, or 6 strands of cotton, each approximately 1 meter long. The more strands used, the more challenging it becomes. For younger children, start with three strands; the bracelets will be small but quick to make while the child learns the technique. For three strands, a length of 75 cm per strand is sufficient for a child's bracelet.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Step 1
Cut 7 threads of 90 cm each for a thick bracelet. But for a thinner bracelet, you can also make this model with 3 threads!
Tie the threads together and secure them in the clipboard clamp.
Start with the leftmost thread, and make 2 regular knots on the right thread.
Step 2
Repeat the operation by making 2 nodes with all the following threads.
Step 3
The left thread is now completely to the right.
Take the new left thread (purple here) and tie it 2 times with each right thread that comes up.
Step 4
Continue this operation until you achieve the desired length of the bracelet.
