To recreate the famous Christmas gingerbread men, we will use terracotta-colored modeling dough as well as 3D paint to draw designs like a pastry chef.
An original creative activity that children will love to do for the end-of-year celebrations!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity you will need:
- air-dry clay in terracotta color
- a protective mat
- a modeling roller
- wooden modeling tools
- 2 wiggle eyes Ø 18 mm
- 1 bow tie sticker
- 1 white 3D paint pen
- plastic buttons
- a black marker
- a small felt hat
- a glue gun
Étape 1
Roll out a ball of modeling clay on a surface of about 20 x 15 cm (to a thickness of 5 mm).
Tip: use a protective mat to protect your table.
Note: with 1 kg of modeling clay, you will be able to make 3 or 4 figures.
Step 2
Print our gingerbread man template by clicking HERE.
Cut out the template, place it on the modeling dough, and then trace/cut the outlines using a wooden tool.
Then let the modeling dough dry until the next day.
Step 3
Use a 3D white paint pen to create decorations on the figure like a real pastry chef.
Step 4
Stick a bow tie sticker on the figure.
Step 5
Glue some plastic buttons in Christmas colors.
Step 6
Glue 2 movable eyes Ø 18 mm.
Step 7
Draw a nice smile with a black marker.
Step 8
Apply glue to the edge of the hat and then place it on the head of the gingerbread man.
