Handprint Keepsake Frame: How Does It Work?

What could be more natural, personal, and touching than preserving the imprint of our little one's hand (or foot)!

1 - Use a rolling pin (if you don't have one, the one we offer will do) to roll out the 40g of ultra-soft white modeling dough to create a “pancake” slightly larger than the child’s hand...

2 - Place the hand firmly in the center and press down... This will be painless since the dough is so soft. If you're not satisfied with the result, don't worry: you can make another ball with the dough, roll it out again, and start over...

3 - Now let the creation harden for 36 hours at room temperature.

4 - At the same time, paint the chosen medium-density fiberboard (MDF) support with opaque covering paint. Wait for the paint to dry before personalizing the support with the first name, age, date... using a brush or opaque paint markers

5 - Use wood glue or universal glue to attach the imprint to the support. You may also glue a hanging attachment to the back of the support. The hardened dough can be painted if desired
