A DIY envelope that, once unfolded, represents a heart.
Perfect for slipping in a sweet note and giving it to someone you love.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
List of materials needed to create an envelope:
- A sturdy card
- A sheet of paper to create a template
- A pencil
- A ruler
- A pair of scissors
- Some stickers
Etape 2.
Cut out a heart about 20 cm tall from a sheet of paper. This will serve as a template to trace a heart onto the cardstock.
Etape 3.
Using the previously cut template, draw a heart on the strong card.
Etape 4.
Cut out the drawn heart.
Etape 5.
Draw lines as shown in the adjacent photo. These will serve as a guide for folding.
The height of the heart here is 20 cm, zone 1 measures 6 cm in height, and zones 2 and 3 each measure 7 cm in height.
Etape 6.
Fold the heart along the vertical lines.
Etape 7.
Then fold the heart along the horizontal lines.
Etape 8.
Cut a small piece of paper the size of the envelope and write a little note on it.
For Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, feel free to stick heart-shaped stickers on this little note.
Etape 9.
Slide the little note inside the envelope.
Etape 10.
Seal the envelope with a heart sticker.
Now all that's left to do is to give it to someone you love.
