Here is an easy activity that allows young children to make a lovely jewelry box for Mother's Day with a bit of paint and colorful accessories.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity, you will need:
- a heart-shaped cardboard box (13 x 10 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- adhesive lace
- fabric flowers
- plastic buttons
- wooden ladybugs
- adhesive letters
- a tube of glue
Step 1
Paint the cardboard box with acrylic paint in the colors of your choice and let it dry for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Stick a lace adhesive tape around the lid to add an elegant touch to the box.
Step 3
Glue a fabric flower onto the box and then glue a plastic button in the center of the flower.
Step 4
Glue 4 or 5 small wooden ladybugs onto the box.
Step 5
Customize the box using rubber adhesive letters.
