How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this pretty key holder, you will need:
- a large wooden tie (and its dowels)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- fabric tape
- soft glittery rubber star stickers
- newspaper letter stickers
- a self-adhesive bow tie
Step 1
Paint the tie with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
Here we used a lilac acrylic paint.
Step 2
Cut pieces of fabric tape and stick them onto the tie.
Leave a gap between the last two holes.
Step 3
Write the word DAD in the free space using newspaper letter stickers.
Step 4
Stick star stickers on the tie.
Step 5
Finish your creation by gluing a pretty bow tie at the top of the tie.
All you have left to do is to push the dowels into the holes to transform your pretty tie into a practical keychain.
