Mail Holder with Paper Plates

To make a mail holder, you will need:

- 2 white cardboard plates (Ø 21 cm)

- acrylic paint and a brush

- a pair of scissors

- a hole punch

- 6 mm satin ribbons (prepare several colors)

- a white marker

- heart stickers

Using a pair of scissors, cut a paper plate two-thirds of the way across its width.

Turn the cut plate over and paint the entire surface with acrylic paint.

Let the paint dry for about 5 minutes.

Place the cut plate face to face with another plate (uncut).

Keep the 2 stacked plates together and make 3 mm holes around the edge of the cut plate using a hole punch.

Space the holes about 2 to 3 cm apart.

To hold the two plates together, cut a piece of ribbon about 80 cm long and then pass it through the holes.

Make a knot at the end to secure everything.

For decoration, cut about a dozen pieces of colored ribbons, each around 40 cm long, fold them in half, and then hang them from the ribbon that goes through the holes in the plates.

With a white marker, write a personalized message on the plate.

Decorate the plate by sticking colorful heart stickers on it.

Make two holes spaced about 5 cm apart at the top of the white plate.

Cut a ribbon of about 30 cm, thread it through the 2 holes, and make a double knot to hang the letter holder anywhere in the house.
