How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make an owl card, you will need:
- A printable owl template (click on "Technical sheet" below the main photo)
- 2 colored sturdy cards 300 g/m² (matching colors)
- 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- 2 brads
- paint markers
- 3D stickers or adhesive stickers
- a pair of scissors
- white glue
- a hole punch
Etape 2.
Print the owl template (click on "Technical sheet" below the main photo) and then cut out the body and wings of the owl.
Etape 3.
Place the owl body template on a colored cardstock, then trace the outline with a pencil.
Cut the cardstock along your tracing.
Etape 4.
Place the wing template on a sturdy piece of colored cardstock in a different color, trace the outlines, and then cut out the wings.
Etape 5.
Place the template on top of the owl's body and then make 2 holes at the indicated spots using a hole punch.
Etape 6.
Place the template over the wings and then punch a hole at the indicated location using a hole punch.
Etape 7.
Assemble the wings and body of the owl using 2 split pins.
Etape 8.
Stick on 2 large 2.5 cm googly eyes and a colored paper triangle for the owl's beak.
Etape 9.
Cut out and glue a photo on the belly of the owl (to achieve a total surprise effect, ensure that the photo is well hidden when the owl closes its wings).
Decorate the owl's wings with paint markers and/or by sticking 3D stickers, foam stickers...
Etape 10.
Close the owl's wings to hide the photo.
Etape 11.
All that is left is to give this lovely card to someone you love.
