How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a shirt card you need:
- a strong colored card 25 x 35 cm (300 g/m²)
- a pair of scissors
- an adhesive bow tie
- plastic buttons
- glue dots
- heart stickers
- a photo
- a glue stick
Step 1
Cut the colored cardstock in half to obtain 2 strips of paper that are 12.5 cm wide.
Step 2
Fold a card in half to create the base of the top.
Step 3
About 2.5 cm from the fold of the card, make two small cuts 3 cm wide on either side of the card.
Step 4
Fold down the collar of the shirt and stick it using 2 gel adhesive dots.
The gel adhesive dots will create a nice 3D effect, just like a real shirt collar!
Step 5
Glue a self-adhesive bowtie under the collar of the shirt.
Step 6
Glue 3 or 4 plastic buttons onto the shirt using the gel adhesive dots.
Step 7
Cut 2 strips of paper about 1 cm wide and glue them to each side of the shirt to add a chic and colorful touch reminiscent of suspenders.
Step 8
Customize the inside of the card with a pretty picture and heart stickers.
