Spider Wandering on Its Web
In this Halloween-themed activity, discover how to create a spider that wanders on its own on its web, a magical effect that will surprise many. Children will have fun moving the spider on its web easily thanks to our little secret: magnets! A simple activity for children aged 5 and up.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Material:
To create this activity, you need:
- a free printable spider template
- a cardboard plate
- round stickers
- paint and a brush
- a large transparent glass pebble
- a wooden stick
- two magnets
- glue varnish
- a fine-tipped marker
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1:
Paint the cardboard plate (hollow part) with acrylic paint.
Then let it dry for about 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Print our spider template by clicking here.
Cut out a rectangle containing a spider, slightly larger than a glass pebble.
Step 3:
Apply a layer of glue varnish on the flat surface of the glass pebble.
Step 4:
Place the pebble on the cut-out spider model, then press firmly.
Step 5:
Cut off the excess paper by following the edges of the pebble.
Step 6:
Apply a thin layer of glue varnish again to the back of the pebble.
Then let it dry for about 20 minutes.
Step 7:
Glue a magnet on the back of the pebble and on a wooden stick with a glue gun.
Step 8:
Using a black permanent marker, draw a vertical line, a horizontal line, and then two diagonals on the cardboard plate.
Step 9:
Starting from the center, draw curved lines between each line as shown in the picture.
Step 10:
Stick round stickers all around the cardboard plate.
Step 11:
Finally, place the spider marble on the web, position the stick on the other side of the plate so that the two elements are magnetized.
The children can now move the stick and watch the spider walk on its web like magic.
