In this activity, children will transform a simple wooden support into a wall-mounted key holder shaped like a lovely colorful house.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To complete this activity, you will need:
- a wooden wall key holder
- acrylic paint and a brush
- colored heavy cardstock (300 g/m²)
- paper flowers
- adhesive rhinestones
- adhesive letters
- heart stickers
- adhesive lace
- a tube of glue
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the wooden support with acrylic paint and then let it dry for 30 minutes.
Step 2
To make the house roof, cut a triangle 17 cm wide and 11 cm high from a piece of colored cardstock.
Step 3
Paste paper flowers onto the roof of the house.
Step 4
Cut out a rectangle of color and glue it to the back of the roof to represent the chimney of the house.
Step 5
For a lovely finish, stick adhesive rhinestones in the center of the paper flowers.
Step 6
Glue the roof to the top of the rectangular wooden support.
Step 7
Cut out the house door from a sturdy card and then glue it between the 2 metal brackets.
Step 8
Cut out a square of color and then glue a photo in the center of it. Then glue the whole thing onto the wooden support.
Step 9
Customize your key holder with adhesive rubber letters.
Step 10
Stick a strip of adhesive lace at the bottom of the key holder.
Step 11
Stick heart stickers next to the metal hooks.
This will help distinguish dad's keys from mom's!
