Embossing Powders and Ink Pad
EMBOSSING POWDER
Approximately 20 g pot.
The principle of hot embossing is to melt embossing powder to create a raised effect.
Hot embossing is done with stamps, slow-drying ink, and embossing powder on various materials (paper, cardboard, wood, glass, ceramics) using a heat gun.
Use any stamp, coat it with the slow-drying clear embossing ink pad, stamp onto the medium (cards, menus, invitations, albums...), and generously sprinkle embossing powder.
Recover the excess powder.
Heat your design with a heat source; it expands and becomes shiny (see "Step by Step" under the main photo as well as the video). We recommend heating with our heat gun or, alternatively, using the heat from a toaster. Never use a hairdryer instead of the heat gun (the powder would blow away instead of melting).
Hot embossing is often used for making card projects: weddings, birthdays, communions, invitations, etc.
This technique is also widely used in scrapbooking.
However, embossing should not be limited to paper use; you can also create beautiful raised effects on various objects: jewelry boxes, frames, clay pots, mirrors, etc.
CLEAR EMBOSSING INK PAD
Ink pad with a colorless, slow-drying ink so that the embossing powder adheres to the wet area.
Can be used with all stamps since the ink pad is raised.
Size: 6.5 x 6 cm
