Decoupage Papers

Create decorated items with napkins and glue papers. This is a fun and easy activity that appeals to both children and adults, as it consistently delivers excellent results! To carry out this activity, you will need glue varnish, which serves the dual purpose of adhering the paper and then finishing it with a varnish. You will also need papers to glue, Decopatch papers, or patterned table napkins (for the latter, be sure to separate the unprinted layers of the napkin). The advantage of this technique is that it can be practiced by children of all ages and is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces. With glue varnish, you can decorate objects made of wood, polystyrene, terracotta, glass, porcelain, and plastic. As you can see, the list is quite extensive.

How does it work? Apply a layer of glue varnish on the object to decorate, place the previously cut pattern from your napkin or special decoupage paper on top, and smooth it out with a brush while applying another layer of glue varnish. The paper will shape itself to the contours of the object and give it a fresh look.
