It does not warp under the pressure of pencil or charcoal applied firmly, does not tear during repeated erasing or persistent rubbing, and stands on its own once detached: your drawing can be handled, presented, and framed without curling.

The light grain holds just the right amount of graphite to give substance to the line, without imposing texture. The result: sharp details, regular hatching, smooth gradients. This is the grain to favor for observational drawing, portraiture, technical drawing, and line illustration. The paper withstands repeated erasing without pilling, without shining, and without tearing; you can erase an entire area and redraw over it without the pencil skipping or catching.
