Canson XL Mix Media Spiral Pad - A4 or A3 Size
Canson XL Mix Media paper works with all mediums. It handles watercolour, acrylic, ink, charcoal, pastel and collage on the same sheet.
Most papers specialise in one medium: one for watercolour, another for pencil, a third for markers. When you want to combine mediums on one sheet, problems arise: drawing paper buckles under washes, watercolour paper doesn’t hold pencil well. This pad is designed to solve that: one paper that accepts everything.
Medium texture: the ideal balance
The medium texture makes this paper adaptable. It’s textured enough to hold charcoal, pastel, pencil and graphite, yet smooth enough for fine lines, details and writing. It also adds depth to washes without the heavy texture of watercolour paper that can reduce precision.
Product Details:
- Metal spiral binding: lies flat and folds back fully
- Microperforation with "true size": sheets detach cleanly at the exact size without leftover edges
- Acid-free and ISO 9706 certified
- A4 size (21 x 29.7 cm), 120 sheets: ideal for classes, exercises and studies
- A3 size (29.7 x 42 cm), 120 sheets: studio size for compositions, large washes, broad brushwork and presentation projects
- Paper made in France
Uses:
- Wet techniques: watercolour, ink, gouache, acrylic, washes, water-soluble markers
- Dry techniques: graphite pencil, coloured pencils, charcoal, soft pastel, sanguine
- Line and inking: fineliners, pens, markers, dip pens
- Collage and mixed media: paper, fabric, light elements (weight supports glue)
- Modelling materials: gesso, thin layers of modelling paste
