How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a 3D frame you will need:
- a strong white A4 card (300 g/m²)
- masking tape
- a printed photo
- a 2 mm satin cord
- wooden alphabet beads
- felt heart stickers
- a self-adhesive bow tie
- a hole punch
- a pair of scissors
- a glue stick
Step 1
Take a photo of a child with arms outstretched and then print the photo in A4 format.
Step 2
Decorate the outline of the thick card with masking tape to create a frame effect and then fold the card in half.
Step 3
Cut the printed photo and stick it in the center of the card.
Step 4
Make a hole in each hand using a hole punch.
Step 5
Cut a piece of satin cord approximately 40 cm long and then thread beads to form a word (like Dad) or a name.
Then glue felt heart stickers on either side of the beads to secure them.
Step 6
Stick the protective film back behind the large felt hearts to prevent them from sticking to the card.
Step 7
Pass the cord through the holes and then tie a knot at each end to hold it suspended.
Step 8
To finish the card, glue a nice paper bow on one corner of the card.
