How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a board you will need:
- A rectangular wooden support 22 x 15 cm
- A half-sphere made of polystyrene
- Two movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- Yellow chenille
- Alphabet stickers
- Adhesive rhinestone strips
- Yellow and blue paint + a brush
- Adhesive magnetic tape
- A glue stick
- A black permanent marker
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
To start, paint the wooden support blue and the polystyrene half-ball yellow.
Then let it dry for 30 minutes.
Step 2:
Glue silver rhinestones (adhesive) around the wooden support.
Tip: Carefully peel off the rhinestones so that you can stick them down in "whole strips" instead of having to place them one by one.
Step 3:
Attach the polystyrene half-ball to the top of the wooden support.
Tip: apply a generous layer of glue for a durable bond.
Step 4:
Glue 2 mobile eyes Ø 2.5 cm onto the half-sphere.
Step 5:
Draw a smile with a black permanent marker.
Step 6:
Cut about twelve pieces of yellow chenille, each 4 cm long.
Step 7:
Push the pipe cleaner pieces into the polystyrene half-ball to create the sun rays.
Step 8:
Finally, with the help of alphabet stickers, write a cute little phrase while varying the colors of the letters.
Here we opted for "Dad, you are my ray of sunshine".
Step 9:
Finally, stick adhesive magnetic tape to the back of the board so that it can be hung on the fridge, for example.
