Discover an easy and fun activity to do with children for Father's Day.
Using a cardboard plate, you can create a giant medal on which the children can hide a message that dad will have to uncover by scratching a card.
An original gift that will delight dads !
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Material
To make a giant medal, you will need:
- a cardboard plate
- golden paint and a brush
- star stickers
- letter stickers from a newspaper
- a black marker
- scratch adhesive film
- glitter paper
- a stapler
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Turn the cardboard plate over and paint it with gold paint.
Let it dry for 1 hour.
Step 2
Decorate the edge of the plate with star stickers.
Step 3
Write the word "DAD" at the top of the plate using letter stickers from a newspaper.
Step 4
Write "You won..." with a black marker.
Then write what dad is going to win (a big kiss, a breakfast in bed...) leaving about 2 to 3 cm of space from the previous sentence.
Step 5
Cut a rectangle from an adhesive scratch card, remove the protective film, and stick it above the "prize" to win.
Dad will need to scratch the card to reveal the message.
Step 6
Cut 2 strips of glitter paper, 5 cm wide, and then attach them at the bottom of the plate with a stapler.
Step 7
By scratching off the black card, the hidden message appears!
