How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a cup, you will need:
- a large polystyrene cone (25 cm)
- a half polystyrene ball (Ø 9.5 cm)
- golden paint and a brush
- 4 wooden rings (Ø 4 cm)
- star stickers
- plastic pins
- a bow tie sticker
- alphabet stickers
- wood glue
- skewers
Step 1
Paint the cone and the half-ball made of polystyrene with gold paint.
Tip: Stick the polystyrene shapes onto skewers to paint without getting your fingers dirty.
Step 2
Glue 4 wooden rings onto the polystyrene ball.
The stacked rings will serve as a base for the polystyrene cone.
Step 3
Glue 2 rows of stars separated by 2 cm onto the polystyrene cone.
Step 4
Insert colored plastic pins into the polystyrene below the rows of stars.
Step 5
Cut the tip of the polystyrene cone (about 1 to 2 cm).
This will allow the cone to fit and secure it into the base made of wooden rings.
Step 6
Place the cone in the wooden base.
Step 7
Decorate the base with a lovely bow tie sticker.
Step 8
Customize the base with alphabet stickers.
Step 9
Add a third row of stars to complete this lovely trophy for Father's Day.
