Surprise your father with an elegant, handmade bow tie card for Father's Day. Our tutorial shows you how to create this special card to express your affection and gratitude in a unique and personalized way.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
Materials needed to create a bow tie card:
- 1 sturdy A4 size card or equivalent
- 2 square colored sheets of 10 x 10 cm or 15 x 15 cm
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Opaque paint markers
- Star rhinestones
Etape 2.
Fold the sturdy card (here in black) in half.
Etape 3.
Fold a square sheet in an accordion style as shown in the attached photo.
Etape 4.
Press the mesh of the sheet and then place a staple in the middle of it.
Cut a strip of colored paper about 8 x 2.5 cm, wrap it around the center of the sheet and glue it to form a bow tie.
Etape 5.
Stick star rhinestones onto the card.
Etape 6.
Apply a dot of glue underneath the center of the bowtie and then stick it onto the card.
Etape 7.
Customize the card using opaque paint markers.
(Bright and highly covering paint even on a dark surface!
Etape 8.
Add a little message inside the card.
Etape 9.
