Heart Pot

To make a heart pot you will need:

- a terracotta pot (dimensions 5.8 x 5 cm)

- 1 wooden stick of 11.4 cm

- a strong red cardstock (300 g/m²)

- a strong green cardstock (300 g/m²)

- self-adhesive lace ribbon

- acrylic paint and a brush

- wooden matches

- paper flowers

- air-drying modeling clay

- a stick of white glue

- a pair of scissors

- a photo

Paint the terracotta pot with acrylic paint.

Stick self-adhesive lace ribbon around the edge of the terracotta pot.

Paint the 11.4 cm wooden stick with acrylic paint to create the stem of the "flower".

Cut:

- a heart measuring 8 to 10 cm from a strong red cardstock.

- 2 sheets measuring 3 to 5 cm from a strong green cardstock.

- the photo you wish to place inside the heart.

Glue the child's photo inside the heart with a glue stick.

Cut off the excess photo protruding from the heart.

Customize the heart by adding a short message.

Glue the heart and the two green leaves onto the wooden stick using a white glue stick.

Make a ball with air-drying modeling clay (it should fit in a child's palm).

Then place the ball of clay in the pot and press down with your fingers.

To create a "soil" effect, paint the modeling dough with brown acrylic paint.

Insert the heart and its stem into the modeling dough in the pot.

Create small decorative flowers by assembling pre-cut paper flowers with colored matches to make the stems.

Then plant your small decorative flowers in the modeling dough.

All that's left is to give the gift to Dad, Mom, or anyone else we love.
