In this Father's Day tutorial, discover the famous scribble art technique to decorate a colorful little card holder!
This activity for children under 3 years old will allow them to give a nice card holder to dad, where he can store up to 10 cards.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a cardholder you need:
- A customizable cardholder
- Letter stickers
- Star stickers
- Colored permanent markers
- Adhesive fabric with a jean effect
- A heat gun
- A pair of precision scissors
Step 1:
To begin, stick letter stickers to form the word "DAD" in the center of the card holder.
Step 2:
Then stick star stickers all around the word "DAD".
Step 3:
Using a dark-colored permanent marker, scribble on the surface.
Step 4:
Wait for the first color to dry, then doodle with permanent markers in other lighter colors.
Step 5 :
And finally, trace the outline of the letters and stars again with the first permanent marker.
Step 6:
Heat the stickers with a heat gun or a hair dryer.
This tip will help children easily remove the stickers in the next step.
Step 7:
After waiting 2-3 minutes for the card holder to cool down, gently peel off the stickers.
Step 8:
Cut out a rectangle of approximately 9 x 5.5 cm from self-adhesive denim-effect fabric, then stick it to the back of the cardholder.
Step 9:
And here we go, dad can now store his cards inside.
