Card "YOU ARE MY DAD"

To create a 'You are my Father' card, you will need:

- 3 strong A4 cardstock sheets (300 g/m²) in white, red, and black

- 1 pair of scissors

- a ruler

- strong white glue

- 3D heart stickers

- star stickers

- a fine-tip white paint marker

- a passport photo (or printed photo)

Using a fine-tipped white paint marker, draw a mask on a thick black card.

Also, draw a rectangular strip about 2 cm above the mask.

Cut out the mask (and the rectangular tab) with a pair of scissors.

Trace and then cut out a long cape from the sturdy black cardstock.

Cut out an identity photo or a printed photo.

The size of the photo should be slightly smaller than that of the cut-out mask to perfectly hide the child's face behind the mask.

Fold the rectangular tab located above the mask, apply glue to this part, and then stick the tab onto a sturdy white card (cut to the desired shape and size).

By only gluing the rectangular tab, it is possible to lift the mask.

Glue the black cape under the mask and then decorate it with a fine-tip white paint marker.

Lift the mask and then stick the photo.

When closing the mask, the photo should no longer be visible.

Decorate your card by sticking red paper strips at the top and bottom of the card.

Cut a narrow strip of red paper and glue it into one of the character's hands to represent a lightsaber.

Stick 3D heart and star stickers to embellish the card.

Write the following message on the red band located at the top of the card: YOU ARE MY DAD!
