Using a glass jar and small craft sticks, we will show you how to make a beautiful lantern that will light up your home for the holiday season.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Supplies
To create a beautiful Christmas lantern, you will need:
- a glass jar (9 cm)
- a wooden log
- mini wooden sticks (5.5 cm)
- white adhesive lace
- a large fabric bow
- miniature Christmas trees
- miniature Christmas figurines
- an LED candle
- double-sided tape
- a hot glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Before starting the activity, wash the glass jar with dish soap and hot water to degrease the surface.
Stick double-sided tape (3.5 cm wide) all around the glass jar.
Step 2
Stick small wooden sticks onto the adhesive to elegantly decorate the pot.
Note: about 30 mini sticks are needed to cover the pot.
Step 3
Cut a piece of adhesive lace and then stick it to the center of the pot, on the wooden sticks.
Step 4
Step may be reserved for adults:
Glue a large fabric bow at the top of the jar with a glue gun.
Step 5
Step may be reserved for adults:
Glue the glass jar onto a wooden log using a glue gun.
Create a beautiful scene by gluing miniature trees and small figurines around the jar.
Step 6
Place an LED candle in the jar to transform it into a lantern and create a lovely decoration to light up your winter evenings.
