In this easy Christmas activity, children will create an adorable star to hang on the tree!
Painting, gluing, and stitching are on the agenda for this original creative activity adapted for little ones (from the age of 3).
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a large polystyrene star
- yellow paint and a brush
- a skewer
- a small felt Santa hat
- 2 wiggle eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a rhinestone
- plastic push pins
- a black marker
- metallic cord
- adhesive dots
Step 1
Place the star on a skewer and then paint it with yellow paint.
Let it dry for about 45 minutes.
Step 2
Slide the felt cap onto one branch of the star and then attach it using two adhesive dots (one at the front, one at the back).
Step 3
Stick on 2 googly eyes and a rhinestone to create a pretty little nose for the star.
Step 4
Draw a nice smile with a black marker.
Step 5
Pin colorful plastic pins onto the branches of the star.
Step 6
Attach a metallic cord around the pompom of the hat so that you can hang the star on the Christmas tree.
