How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this keychain you will need:
- a cork
- leather scraps
- ceramic beads
- linseed twine
- a clip ring
- a screw eye
- a black paint marker
- a hole punch
- a cutting board
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Write the word "DAD" on a cork stopper using a paint marker.
Step 2
Screw a metal hook into the cork stopper.
Step 3
Cut a piece of linen thread about 40 cm long, fold it in half and create a loop using a double knot.
Thread some ceramic beads onto the two pieces of linen thread and finish with a double knot to secure the beads.
Step 4
Cut 3 strips of leather approximately 1 cm x 8 cm.
Tip: Choose different shades for an even prettier result!
Step 5
Make a hole at the top of each leather strip using a punch.
Use a cutting mat to protect your work surface.
Step 6
Open the metal ring in half and insert the various elements that make up the keychain.
