Flower Pot for Mom

To make a pretty flower pot for Mother's Day, you will need:

- a white cardboard cup

- acrylic paint and a brush

- a polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm

- 3 green chenille stems of 30 cm

- a red A4 cardstock

- a green A4 cardstock

- a jumbo heart hole punch

- sparkly heart stickers made of soft rubber

- a glue stick

- a pair of scissors

- a compass

- a printed photo

Paint the white cardboard cup with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 10 minutes.

Cut out a photo and then glue it onto the cup with a glue stick.

Glue adhesive lace to the bottom of the cup for a pretty finish.

Using a jumbo punch, cut out 6 hearts of approximately 5 cm from a sturdy red card.<\/p>\r\n

6 hearts will allow you to make 3 flowers.<\/p>

Glue the surface of a paper heart and then stick a 30 cm green chenille stem.

Glue the surface of a second paper heart and then glue it on top of the green chenille, face to face with the first heart.

Glue a glittery soft rubber heart in the center of the flower to add color and shine.

Cut small leaves from a sturdy green cardstock and then glue them around the caterpillar.

Place a 7 cm diamond polystyrene ball at the bottom of the cup.

This will help the flowers stand "upright" afterwards.

Using the point of a compass, make 3 small holes at the top of the cup to insert the 3 flowers.

Pass the flower stems through the holes until they are planted into the polystyrene ball for greater stability.
