How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this lovely keychain you will need:
- a large wooden tie (and its dowels)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- heart buttons
- felt heart stickers
- adhesive letters
- an adhesive bow tie
- glue
Step 1
Paint the tie with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
Here we used yellow acrylic paint.
Step 2
Write the word DAD at the bottom of the tie using adhesive letters.
Step 3
Glue a large felt heart just above the word 'dad'.
Practical, you can stack the felt stickers for a 3D and colorful effect.
Step 4
Glue heart buttons all over the surface of the tie using a strong white glue.
Step 5
Complete your creation by gluing a nice bow tie at the top of the tie.
All you have to do now is to insert the dowels into the holes to transform your lovely tie into a practical keychain.
