Magnetic Maze
With a magnet placed under the board, help the Clown navigate the maze to reach the big top!
A complete and fun activity where children will create their characters, design the maze path, and discover that the magnetic force of the magnets allows them to move the little character across the board.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To create a magnetic maze you will need:
- a plastic board (31.5 x 24 cm)
- a drawing marker
- adhesive foam rubber mosaics
- stickers
- 2 caps
- 2 magnets
- acrylic paint and a brush
- a pom-pom
- strong white glue
Etape 2.
Place a sticker at the top right of the board and another sticker at the bottom left of the board to mark the beginning and end of the maze.
Etape 3.
With a non-permanent marker, trace the path of the maze.
You need to create pathways that are wide enough (about 4 cm) so that the cap can move easily within the maze.
If you make a mistake, erase the marker lines with a damp cloth.
Etape 4.
We will now cover the outline with flexible rubber adhesive mosaic tiles.
Etape 5.
Place the mosaics side by side, following the black outline to create the "walls" of the maze.
Etape 6.
Paint a cork with acrylic paint and then let it dry for about 20 minutes.
Etape 7.
Once the paint is dry, decorate the cap with markers, Crazy Eyes stickers, ...
Etape 8.
For an even funnier side, attach a large pom-pom with white glue on top of the cap to give the character some hair.
Etape 9.
Glue a magnet underneath the character by generously applying strong white glue.
For optimal adhesion, allow to dry for 24 hours.
Etape 10.
Glue another magnet onto an undecorated cork stopper.
Be sure to check the polarity of the magnets before gluing (the magnet under the character and the one above must attract each other, not repel).
Etape 11.
Place the character at the start of the course, the undecorated magnetic cap underneath the board, and move the character through the maze.
The character moves thanks to the magnetic force of the magnets!
