How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a pretty flower, you will need:
- 6 colored sheets of tissue paper (16 x 16 cm)
- a 30 cm chenille stem
- a cardboard straw
- a pom-pom
- double-sided adhesive foam
- a pair of scissors
Optional:
- a white cardboard cup or pot
- masking tape
- candle fragrance
- pipette
- floral foam
Step 1
Layer 6 sheets of tissue paper (16 x 16 cm) in different colors.
Step 2
Fold the 6 sheets in accordion style.
Step 3
Attach the tissue paper in the middle using a 30 cm chenille.

Round the edges of the tissue paper with a pair of scissors.
Step 5
Unfold the tissue paper sheets.
Step 6
Gently pull the tissue paper sheets upwards, working color by color.
Step 7
Slide the two ends of the caterpillar into a colored cardboard straw to create a stem that is both sturdy and pretty.
Step 8
Stick a pom-pom in the center of the flower using a small piece of double-sided adhesive foam.
Step 9
Make a pretty vase for your flowers using a white cardboard pencil holder decorated with masking tape.
Place a piece of floral foam at the bottom of the pot so you can plant your pretty flower!
Step 10
Put a few drops of perfume on the pompom using a pipette to create a flower that gives off a pleasant scent.
