How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- air-drying white modeling clay
- a glass tealight holder
- adhesive lace
- fuse beads
- heart-shaped rhinestones
- an LED candle
- photo holder sticks
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate the top of the lantern with adhesive lace.
Step 2
Make a ball with about 300 grams of white modeling clay.
Step 3
Place the ball on the work surface and then lightly flatten the base.
Push the lantern into the modeling clay.
Step 4
Push a heart rhinestone and some pretty pastel colored fuse beads into the modeling clay.
Note: this step is ideal for developing fine motor skills in young children!
Étape 5
Thread fuse beads onto the photo holder stem.
Leave about 3 cm of free space so that you can push the stems into the modeling clay.
Step 6
Insert the metal rods into the modeling clay base.
Step 7
Slide 2 pretty photos onto the metal sticks and place an LED candle inside the glass lantern.
