Popsicle Stick Birdhouse with Photo

To make a pretty birdhouse, you will need:

- 11 wooden sticks (size: 15 cm)

- acrylic paint and a brush

- a card with pretty patterns

- colorful cardboard straws

- a fabric flower

- a plastic button

- small wooden birds

- adhesive rubber letters

- wood glue

- double-sided adhesive foam

- a pair of scissors

Align 7 wooden sticks (15 cm) and then glue one stick perpendicular with wood glue to hold everything securely.

Let it dry for about 20 minutes.

Turn the whole set over and paint the sticks with acrylic paint.

Here we opted for a lovely "mint green" color.

Glue 2 wooden sticks together by crossing them to create the roof of the birdhouse. We glued these sticks with double-sided adhesive foam because, in addition to being practical, it will add volume to the children's creation!

Stick a strip of adhesive foam behind a stick and then glue it at the bottom of the birdhouse.

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 8 cm from a pretty patterned card and then glue it to the center of the birdhouse with adhesive foam (still with the aim of giving a 3D effect to the creation).

Cut a circle with a diameter of 6 cm from a photo and then glue it on top of the patterned paper, always using adhesive foam.

For a pretty decoration, cut colored cardboard straws and then glue them at the bottom of the birdhouse and under the roof.

For a colorful and spring-like decoration, glue a fabric flower and a button at the top of the roof, then add some colorful little birds on the "perch".

To customize their birdhouses, children can write a nice message or a name using adhesive rubber letters!
