In this craft activity on the theme of Spring, we will show you how to create beautiful silhouettes of butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies, flowers, bees, and birds using paint and foam stamps.
You enjoyed our versions of Halloween silhouettes, Christmas silhouettes, Autumn silhouettes, and Easter silhouettes. Here is our new version for Spring!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Material
To create a Spring silhouette, you will need:
- a silhouette to download / print
- a sturdy black card (300 g/m²)
- gouache
- foam stamps
- plastic containers
- a pair of scissors
- repositionable spray glue
Step 2
After protecting your work surface,
spray repositionable aerosol adhesive on the silhouette.
Let the glue sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Glue the silhouette to the center of a sturdy black card.
Step 4
In small cups, pour a small amount of poster paint in several colors.
Step 5
Using a stamp, apply white poster paint all around the silhouette.
Tip: Starting with white will create a nice contrast with the black background.
Step 6
Next, dab other colors by following the outline of the previous color each time.
Tip: Then add small touches of color on top.
Let dry for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Carefully peel off the silhouette.
Step 8
Then reproduce all the steps with the other silhouettes.
