Super Bottle Opener
Children will turn bottle openers into real superheroes with a bit of paint and felt.
They can also personalize them with stickers to create a practical and original gift for Mother's Day / Father's Day.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a super bottle opener you need:
- a wooden bottle opener
- acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- alphabet stickers
- varnish
- a neodymium magnet
- felt
- 2 googly eyes Ø 1 cm
- a pair of scissors
- a glue gun
Step 1
Paint the body of the bottle opener with acrylic paint.
Step 2
Once the paint is dry, customize the handle of the bottle opener with alphabet stickers.
Step 3
Varnish the handle to permanently secure the stickers and protect the bottle opener.
Step 4
Glue a neodymium magnet to the back of the handle using a glue gun.
Step 5
Cut a square of felt measuring 9 x 9 cm.
Step 6
Wrap the cape just below the head of the bottle opener and then glue it using the hot glue gun.
Step 7
Glue 2 movable eyes Ø1 cm to the top of the bottle opener's head.
