Surprise Bag Shirt
In this activity, children will transform a paper bag into a lovely shirt where they can hide a surprise or treats for Father's Day.
An original and easy gift to make for young children.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a surprise backpack, you will need:
- a colored paper bag (15 cm)
- alphabet stickers
- decorative stickers (buttons, bows...)
- rhinestone strips
- adhesive dots
- a pair of scissors
- a ruler and a pencil
- a surprise to slip into the bag
Step 1
Starting from each edge of the bag, draw 2 lines 4 cm long.
Height between the line and the top of the bag = 2 cm.
These lines will allow us to create the collar of the shirt.
Step 2
Remove the 2 glued handles from inside the bag.
Step 3
Glue 2 strips of adhesive rhinestones 1 cm from the edges of the bag.
Do not exceed the previously drawn lines.
Step 4
Write the word "DAD" with stickers on the bottom of the bag.
Step 5
Decorate the bag with our accessory stickers (buttons and bow ties).
Step 6
Cut the top of the bag, first on the left and then on the right, following the two lines.
Step 7
Fill the bag with a surprise for Father's Day (small gift, candies...).
Step 8
Fold back the 2 cut parts and then stick them with adhesive dots to form the collar of the shirt and close the bag.
