In this activity, children will use this technique to decorate a card holder, creating an original and practical gift that will delight dads for Father's Day.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this project, you will need:
- a white card holder to decorate
- permanent markers
- brush cleaner
- a pipette
- alphabet stickers
- star rhinestone stickers
Step 1
Draw solid colors on the surface of the card holder with permanent markers. The patterns don’t matter; the result will be original and unique in the end!
Important note: You need to use alcohol-based permanent markers to successfully complete this activity; we recommend our 10doigts markers for this.
Step 2
Put brush cleaner into a dropper and then place a few drops onto the decorated area. The brush cleaner will interact with alcohol-based colors to create beautiful visual effects.
Tip: do not apply too much cleaner on the surface; about ten well-distributed drops will be more than enough!
Let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 3
Stick alphabet stickers to form the word "DAD".
Step 4
Decorate the surface with star rhinestone stickers to add a beautiful sparkling touch!
