Materials
To make a wall-mounted key holder, you will need:
- a wooden board (20 x 10 cm)
- a key holder umbrella
- watercolor paint sticks
- letter stickers
- heart stickers
- petal stickers
- a glue gun
Step 1
Paint the wooden board with a solid gouache stick.
Tip: The solid gouache is very opaque and dries almost instantly.
Step 2
Decorate the umbrella with petal stickers.
Step 3
Assemble the two parts by inserting the black handle into the hole of the white umbrella.
Slide the small black silicone ring onto the tip of the handle to secure the assembly.
Step 4
Glue the umbrella to the bottom of the board using a glue gun.
Important: instead of using the stickers provided with the umbrellas, we prefer to glue everything with a glue gun for a stronger bond, as keychains can sometimes be heavy!
Step 5
Customize the board by writing a lovely message using letter stickers.
Here we chose "A shower of kisses".
Step 6
Complete the decoration of the board with heart stickers to simulate a shower of hearts falling on the umbrella.
Step 7
Practical, the umbrella handle can hold a set of keys!
The wooden board has a hole for easy hanging on a wall with a nail or screw.
