How long should the thread be to create a friendship bracelet?
For an adult bracelet, use 3, 5, or 6 strands of cotton, each approximately 1 meter long. The more strands you use, the more difficult it becomes. For younger children, start with three strands; the bracelets will be small but quick to make while the child masters the technique. For three strands, a length of 75 cm per strand is sufficient for a child’s bracelet.
Tip: For braiding bracelets, we recommend purchasing the Clipboard, an accessory that greatly facilitates the braiding work...
