100% Natural White Clay
Blocks of: 1.5 kg - 5 kg - 10 kg
This clay is 100% natural and is suitable for modeling, sculpture, turning, and stamping. It can be worked with wet hands to create objects or sculptures. Once dry at the core, the clay becomes permanently solid.
It can be fired, patinated, or painted. It is not recommended for glazing, as fine crackling may appear (a subtle network of cracks in the fired glaze, but not easily visible to the naked eye).
Potter's clay is suitable for children from 3 years old.
As clay is a natural mineral material, the colors are also natural; that is why clay referred to as "white" appears gray when wet and will become lighter as it dries.
Clay creations can be sanded and decorated with water-based paints (like gouache) or acrylic paints, and then varnished once dry.
Storage:
Once opened, keep the clay wrapped in a plastic bag, ideally placed in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator or with a damp cloth.
With firing: in a pottery kiln: between 960°C and 1050°C.
Without firing: it dries in open air in 4-5 days at room temperature.

TRÈS PRATIQUE !
Cette terre sèche assez rapidement donc j'hésite à trop la pétrir et j'utilise de l'eau au lieu de barbotine. Quand on la mouille, elle est vite collante, c'est une difficulté. Mais quel bonheur pour les enfants qui peuvent avoir leur VRAI objet fini !
