Preparation: Mix the salts (ammonium iron citrate + potassium ferricyanide) with water, and let it sit for 24 hours in the dark.

Application: Brush the solution onto clean watercolor paper or cotton fabric.

Exposure: Place your motif (leaf, stencil, etc.), then expose to sunlight (for 5 to 30 minutes depending on UV index)

Fixing & Washing: Gently wash to reveal the deep blue of the cyanotype.
