A Pretty Flower in a Pot
In this activity, children will decorate a wooden flower and create a nice pot using a cardboard cup and stickers.
An easy craft that can be done by children from the age of 4.
These original flower pots make a great gift for Mother's Day / Father's Day!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity, you will need:
- a large wooden flower
- a cardboard cup
- paint markers
- adhesive lace
- flower stickers
- googly eyes Ø 18 mm
- modeling clay
- paper grass
- adhesive dots
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate a wooden flower with paint markers.
Step 2
Glue 2 moving eyes Ø 18 mm onto the flower and then draw a smile with a black marker.
Step 3
Decorate the cup by gluing adhesive lace at the top and bottom of it.
Step 4
Stick pretty flower stickers on the cup.
Step 5
Place a ball of modeling clay at the bottom of the cup.
This will allow you to plant the wooden flower while providing more stability to the creation.
Step 6
Plant the flower in the modeling dough ball.
Step 7
Fill the cup with paper grass to give a nice finish to the creation.
