How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Prepare your materials
You will need the following materials:
- Candle wax pellets
- A fragrance to scent your candles + droppers
- Candle wicks
- A wooden clip to keep the wick straight while pouring the wax
- Cookie cutters to pour the wax into.
- Parchment paper
Lay the Wicks
On parchment paper, lay out your cookie cutters, place a wick inside, and hold it in place by propping sticks on either side of the wick.
Pouring Candles
Then heat the wax in a double boiler, add a few drops of fragrance, and when the wax is fully liquid, gently pour it into your molds.
Unmold Your Candles
Let the wax cool in the open air.
Once the candles are solid, you can unmold them; they're ready.
