This mixing bowl is specifically designed for double boiling. Made of rigid plastic, it features a spout on each side (for both right and left-handed users) and hooks for pot support. It is safe to use as the handle stays cool.
Suitable for soap, candle, and cosmetic activities... You can add colorants and/or fragrances during the process as needed and reuse the double boiler immediately.
It is easy to clean with hot water and soap.
Capacity: approximately 200 g.
How does it work? The double boiler allows you to melt your candle waxes or soaps at low temperatures. To do this, use a pot of water in which you will place the double boiler. Heat the pot, the water should be hot but not boiling. Do not use over a gas flame.
Note: The candle-making activity is recommended for children aged 8 years and older. We strongly advise that this activity be conducted under adult supervision.

Parfait, j'en avais déjà un dont je me sers pour faire fondre la cire à bougie et voulais un autre pour mes cosmétiques.
Récipient fondu
C'est très simple, posé sur la casserole le récipient à commencer a fondre sur place. Le manche ne reste pas froid, contrairement à ce qui est annoncé. Il est maintenant inutilisable et j'ai du finir de faire fondre ma cire dans un autre récipient.

Le bain-marie est une méthode de cuisson douce qui consiste à chauffer un récipient contenant vos ingrédients en le plaçant dans un autre récipient plus grand rempli d'eau chaude. Voici les étapes à suivre pour utiliser correctement le pot de bain-marie : - Ajoutez suffisamment d'eau pour qu'elle atteigne environ la moitié de la hauteur de votre récipient de bain-marie, mais sans jamais toucher le fond de celui-ci. - Le récipient contenant vos ingrédients doit flotter sur l'eau chaude. Assurez-vous qu'il ne touche pas directement le fond de la casserole pour éviter tout contact direct avec la source de chaleur. - Chauffez l'eau à feu doux. L'eau doit être chaude, mais ne doit pas bouillir vigoureusement. La chaleur de l'eau sera transférée de manière uniforme au récipient, permettant à vos ingrédients de fondre sans risque de surchauffe ou de brûlure. Le manche est conçu pour rester relativement froid pendant l'utilisation. Cependant, il peut chauffer si exposé directement à la flamme ou à une chaleur excessive.
