For Father's Day, we are going to create a special gift that will delight all the candy-loving dads!
Using a plastic ball, colored tissue paper, and shiny stickers, children will create a one-of-a-kind candy box. This original box will be perfect for holding a selection of delicious treats.
This candy box will be an ideal gift for Father's Day! Dads will be touched by this thoughtful gesture and will appreciate receiving a handmade gift filled with delightful surprises.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a candy box you will need:
- a transparent plastic ball
- tissue paper
- glue varnish and a brush
- rubber adhesive letters
- star rhinestone stickers
- holographic adhesive tape
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut out approximately 25 squares of colored paper measuring 4 x 4 cm.
Step 2
Apply glue varnish with a brush inside the flat-bottom half-sphere, then stick the squares of tissue paper. Apply another layer of glue varnish over each glued paper square.
Once the inner surface is completely covered, let it dry for a few hours.
Note : if some tissue paper hangs over, that's okay; they will be trimmed in the next step.
Step 3
Once the glue is dry, cut off the excess tissue paper with a pair of scissors.
Step 4
Decorate the top part of the ball with the adhesive letters DAD.
Step 5
Complete the decoration with star rhinestone stickers.
Step 6
Glue a shiny tape around the bottom part of the ball.
Step 7
Fill the box with delicious candies to complete this original and tasty gift.
