In this tutorial, we reveal how to create a unique surprise card for Mother's Day or Father's Day, containing a secret message that moms and dads will need to scratch off to reveal.
This is a perfect gift idea to surprise parents and let all the love from little ones shine through in a special message. This activity is easy to do, and with a little help, even the youngest children can participate.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a card, you need:
- a kit of 6 mini surprise card envelopes
- self-adhesive scratch film
- letter stickers
- a pair of scissors
- a wooden pencil
Step 1:
Turn over one of the heart cards, then use letter stickers to write "You win a voucher for" or another message introducing a secret message.
Step 2:
Glue small stickers (stars, flowers, hearts...) to decorate the inside of the envelope. Be careful to leave space below the stickers for the secret message.
Step 3:
Write a secret message with a pencil, here we wrote "A huge hug!!!"
Step 4:
In a sheet of self-adhesive scratch film, cut a rectangle of about the right size to cover the entire secret message.
Remove the protective film from the scratch film and then stick it over the message.
Step 5:
Place small tissue paper hearts in the envelope.
Step 6:
Fold the envelope using the pre-folding.
Step 8:
Then close the envelope using a small heart sticker.
Step 9:
And finally, turn the envelope over and stick a message sticker to complete the envelope.
