Here is a simple tip for making an Easter bunny basket using paper plates and a few accessories.
A fun activity to do with kids before heading out for the Easter egg hunt!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make an Easter bunny bag, you will need:
- 3 white cardboard plates Ø 21 cm
- coloring felt pens
- 2 movable eyes Ø 25 mm
- a few colored pom poms
- about 50 cm of cord
- a pair of scissors
- a stapler
- strong white glue
And for a nice finish: fabric flowers, wooden matches, and plastic buttons.
Etape 2.
Cut out the rabbit's 2 ears from a first paper plate.
Etape 3.
With markers, color the inside of the ears pink (or any other color of your choice).
Etape 4.
Cut a second cardboard plate to create a crescent moon shape (see photo on the right).
Etape 5.
Place the obtained "crescent moon" against another plate and then staple them together.
This will create the base of the bag that will be used to collect Easter chocolates.
Etape 6.
Create the rabbit's face by gluing pom poms and googly eyes onto the uncut cardboard plate.
Etape 7.
Position the rabbit's two ears correctly...
Etape 8.
... then fix them with a stapler.
Etape 9.
To create the basket handle, cut a piece of cord about 50 cm long and then attach it behind each ear with the stapler.
Etape 10.
Your cart is now complete.
It’s time for the Easter egg hunt!
Etape 11.
For an even prettier finish, you can:
- glue small colored matches to make the rabbit's whiskers
- create a nice paper bow
- glue fabric flowers with a plastic button in the center
